A Little About Me

Here is my Biography

Steve Rizzuto, a native of Sandy, Utah, graduated from Hillcrest High School in 1993. He joined the National Guard soon thereafter and entered Basic Combat Training on August 27th of the same year. Aside from basic soldiering skills, his training was focused primarily on driving and maintaining 5,000 gallon fuel trucks. He completed his military training in March of 1994 and returned home. Working as a carpenter for the remainder of that summer he earned some money to finance his LDS Mission.

Steve's LDS Mission took him to Novosibirsk, Russia where he spent the next two years serving and teaching. It was there that he learned the true nature of hard work and self discipline. He developed a deep love for the Russian language, Russian culture, and especially, Russian food. He returned from service in September 1996 to a vastly different world full of e-mail addresses, web sites, and tech stocks. This world would eventually convince him to purchase his first computer and learn the ways of the internet generation.

Upon his return from Russia in 1996 he enrolled in his first college courses at LDS Business College where he studied until he earned an Associates Degree and gained admission to BYU. He continued his education at BYU earning various scholarships and studying primarily political science and the Russian language. He also studied life's little secrets.

Thanks to his newly acquired internet savvy, Steve met his beautiful bride online and they were married on July 28, 2000. He and his new bride, Kaye, enjoyed a romantic honeymoon on the exquisite beaches and touring the astonishing ruins of the lovely Mexican vacation spot, Cancun. Having spent the majority of his life inland, he there learned the beauty of the beach and has longed to return ever since.

His beautiful wife gave him the right boost into family life and the two of them soon enjoyed the addition of a third, much smaller member. Mariane (Pronounced Mary-Anna) joined the happy couple on June 25th, 2001, weighing in at 9 pounds and measuring 21 inches. She has since become a mischievous little creature, with all the running, tearing, bouncing, falling, laughing, splashing, and hell raising that any new parent could ever imagine. To Kaye and Steve, she is the sweetest little wonder on God's green earth.

Steve has since enjoyed being a dad and most appreciates time well spent with his adorable wife and sweet little daughter. He also enjoys the out doors, sports, reading good books, and entertaining friends.
